This yarn set contains two skeins of Walk Cottage Mohair, perfect for the "Rendado" shawl by Paula Pereira from her book "Textured Knits", which can be purchade here. (Please note: The pattern is only available in the book and cannot be purchased individually)

About the design: "Rendado’s stitch patterns look intricate, but all of them are knitted with basic and very straightforward stitches and techniques. The light shawl is worked in two different directions: the first section is knitted sideways, with an ensemble of delicate stitch patterns alternating eyelets, knit and purl stitches. The second section is worked from the top down with big flowers made with a crochet hook. Rendado in Portuguese means lacy, or lace-trimmed."

This listing is only for the yarn, the pattern is not included. You will find the suggested pattern (available in English and Portuguese) on Ravelry:

All infos to the yarn bases can be found in the bases section and all our colorways are shown in our color gallery.

Delivery time: 3-6 weeks after receipt of payment (depending on destination country)

Dyes are applied merely by hand so there is a natural variation within hanks of the same dye lot. To maintain an even appearance in larger projects we would suggest to alternate skeins while knitting.

We take great care photographing our items, but please take into account that colors might vary slightly due to different monitors.

Cold hand wash recommended. Lay flat to dry.

We recommend pre-washing intense colors before combining with lighter shades to remove excess color pigments.
