TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE GIVEAWAY

These terms and conditions apply to giveaways organized by
Cathrin Walk GmbH & Co. KG
Cornelienstraße 49
63739 Aschaffenburg, Germany
(hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).

Participation in the giveaway is governed exclusively by these terms and conditions.

This giveaway is in no way connected to Meta Platforms Ireland Limited and is not sponsored, organized, or supported by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited in any way.

1) Giveaway Period

The giveaway period is defined by the respective giveaway post on Instagram or the corresponding announcement on the website.
Entries submitted outside this period will not be considered.

2) Participation in the Giveaway

Participation takes place via Instagram as described in the giveaway post, in particular by:

• Following @walkcollection and @mairlynd
• Liking the giveaway post
• Commenting on the post with the desired color of the “Matcha Mood” shawl

By participating, participants agree to these terms and conditions.

Participation is free of charge and not dependent on the purchase of any goods or services.

Each participant may enter the giveaway only once. Multiple entries or the use of multiple accounts to increase the chances of winning are not permitted.

3) Eligibility

Eligible to participate are natural persons aged 16 years or older who are resident in Germany.

If a participant is under the age of 18 or has limited legal capacity, the consent of their legal guardian is required.

Employees of the Organizer, persons involved in the conception or implementation of the giveaway, and their family members are excluded from participation.

The Organizer reserves the right to exclude participants from the giveaway for good cause, in particular in cases of:
(a) manipulation in connection with access to or execution of the giveaway,
(b) violations of these terms and conditions,
(c) unfair or improper conduct,
(d) false or misleading information provided in connection with participation.

4) Prize, Notification and Delivery

The following prize will be awarded:

• 1× book “Shawl Love” by Melanie Berg (German edition)
• 1× €50 voucher for www.walkcollection.com

The prize is non-transferable. Cash payment, exchange or self-collection is not possible.

The winner will be determined at random from all valid entries after the end of the giveaway period.

The winner will be notified via direct message on Instagram.
If the winner does not respond within 7 days, the Organizer reserves the right to redraw the prize.

The prize will be shipped at the Organizer’s expense exclusively to the winner or their legal guardian, to a shipping address within Germany.

5) Early Termination of the Giveaway

The Organizer reserves the right to cancel or terminate the giveaway at any time without prior notice and without stating reasons. This applies in particular if proper execution of the giveaway cannot be guaranteed for technical (e.g. viruses, manipulation, hardware or software errors) or legal reasons.

If such termination is caused by the behavior of a participant, the Organizer may claim compensation for any resulting damage.

6) Data Protection

Participation in the giveaway requires the provision of personal data. Participants confirm that the personal information provided, in particular first name, last name, address, and email address, is truthful and accurate.

The Organizer assures that participants’ personal data will not be passed on to third parties or made available for their use.

All email addresses and voluntarily provided data will be collected and stored solely for the purpose of determining the winner. All data will be deleted no later than 30 days after the end of the giveaway.

Participants have the statutory rights to access, rectification, and withdrawal.

7) Withdrawal

Participants may withdraw from the giveaway at any time by sending an email to hello@walkcollection.com, requesting deletion of their registration data. Withdrawal ends participation in the giveaway.

8) Liability

By participating in the giveaway, participants release Instagram from any liability related to the giveaway.

Legal recourse is excluded.

10) Disclaimer for Technical Issues

The Organizer accepts no liability for incorrect information resulting from typographical errors or technical issues during data transmission. The Organizer is also not liable for system failures, interruptions, or disruptions of technical systems or the internet that may affect or prevent participation.

Furthermore, the Organizer is not responsible for loss, delay, or misuse of data caused by third parties.

11) Severability Clause

Should any provision of these terms and conditions be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
