SUSTAINABLE PROJECT BAGS MADE FROM RECYCLED KITES

The WALK X STAY IN A KITE project bag is perfect for knitters who prioritize functionality, style and sustainability. Crafted from recycled kite-surfing sails, this versatile bag reflects our deep commitment to repurposing used materials and creating something new from them, using only eco-friendly or recycled materials, ensuring nothing goes to waste.

DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITY

With its spacious interior, the project bag offers plenty of room to safely store multiple skeins of yarn and your current knitting project. The integrated pocket allows for organized storage of knitting accessories such as needles, stitch markers, measuring tape and scissors.
The double-walled construction of the bag ensures stability and makes handling easier. A secure metal hook fastens the bag's roll-top, keeping your knitting supplies safely stored at all times, even while on the go.
With its versatility, the project bag is a true multitasker - whether as a toiletry bag for your travels or as a practical packing pouch in your hiking backpack, it adapts flexibly to your needs.
Each project bag is unique and manufactured in Europe.

#WhoMadeMyClothes

When it comes to hand knitting, it's usually clear where the garment comes from and who crafted it. However, with knitting accessories, tracing the entire production process can be more challenging. Through our partnership with STAY IN A KITE, we aim to address this gap. The bags are crafted in Europe, and the company is aligned with the values of the Fashion Revolution.

KNITTING CONNECTS

Knitting was certainly the first common ground Cathrin from WALK COLLECTION and Doris, the founder of STAY IN A KITE, discovered.
Additionally, both women prioritize sustainability, high-quality craftsmanship and appealing design. The fact that their businesses are both located in the Frankfurt area was the starting point for their collaboration, as they both prefer to work with local partners whenever possible.
