The "Calathea Wrap" by Lisa Hannes combines flowing cable patterns with an elegant, timeless shape. For this design, Walk Merlino was chosen – a yarn that beautifully highlights the sculptural texture of the stitches and gives the wrap depth and definition.
This yarn set is specially curated for the “Calathea Wrap” and is available in two options:

Main yarn set:
Walk Merlino (2 skeins) in the original colourway “Robin Hood.”
The contrast yarn used alongside in the pattern is not included and must be purchased separately. -
Complete set:
Walk Merlino (2 skeins) as the main yarn combined with Suri Fluff (3 skeins) as a companion yarn – both in the colourway “Robin Hood.”

“Fascinating cables flow across this beautiful wrap, embedded in a ribbed pattern. The Calathea Wrap is a long, sideways-knit shawl. You begin at one tip and work your way to the opposite tip, creating an elongated shape that tapers toward the ends. This form is very versatile and easy to wear.”

Delivery time: 3-6 weeks after receipt of payment (depending on destination country)
Dyes are applied merely by hand so there is a natural variation within hanks of the same dye lot. To maintain an even appearance in larger projects we would suggest to alternate skeins while knitting.
We take great care photographing our items, but please take into account that colours might vary slightly due to different monitors.
Cold hand wash recommended. Lay flat to dry.
We recommend pre-washing intense colours before combining with lighter shades to remove excess dye pigments.
