Product information
NB: We only stock a limited number of our "originals" yarn sets, which means that the yarn will most likely be dyed especially for you. This yarn set contains 5 skeins in Merino DK, perfect for the "PAINTING PARALLELOGRAMS" shawl by Stephen West, published in the "Painting Shawls" book from Stephen West.
If you would like to purchase the magazine, too, please use this link.
About the design: "This DK weight scarf features one main color striped with three contrast colors, but you can use as many contrast colors as you like. The contrast colors meander to the left and right with slip stitches to create a parallelogram motif. The simple cascading rhythm produces a zig zag I-cord edge, which crisply frames the long scarf.
You can easily customize the length of this scarf by knitting more parallelogram repeats or bind off early for a shorter length."
The set contains:
MC - 2 skeins of Walk Merino DK in "Twister"
CC1 - 1 skein of Walk Merino DK in "Apricot"
CC2 - 1 skein of Walk Merino DK in "Washed Out"
CC3 - 1 skein of Walk Merino DK in "Olivia"

Care
Cold hand wash recommended. Lay flat to dry. We recommend pre-washing intense colors before combining with lighter shades to remove excess color pigments.Color information
Dyes are applied merely by hand so there is a natural variation within hanks of the same dye lot. To maintain an even appearance in larger projects I would suggest to alternate skeins while knitting.
I take great care photographing my items, but please take into account that colours might vary slightly due to different monitors.
