NB: We only stock a limited number of our "originals" yarn sets, which means that the yarn will most likely be dyed especially for you. In this case your order will be ready for shipment within 3-4 weeks. If you need it urgently, please send us a note before ordering to check ready-to-ship availability.
The "PAINTING WAVES SHAWL" by Stephen West was originally knitted with 8 skeins Walk "Tough Sock Mini" (CC) and 2 skeins West Wool "Bicycle" (MC).
"This fingering weight shawl is knit sideways starting at the little edge and increasing toward the wide edge. One main color is featured throughout all the garter stitch stripes. Eight contrast colors are used for painting the waves in stockinette stitch. The stitches are very easy to knit with I-cord edges framing the wavy triangular shape."
For those wanting to use West Wool Bicycle as main colour, we offer a "Minis only" version. For those interested in a full set we will offer our Cottage Merino yarn as main colour instead.

CareCold hand wash recommended. Lay flat to dry.
Dyes are applied merely by hand so there is a natural variation within hanks of the same dye lot. To maintain an even appearance in larger projects I would suggest to alternate skeins while knitting.
I take great care photographing my items, but please take into account that colours might vary slightly due to different monitors.
